Other Ways to Support Odyssey
Supporting Odyssey Charter School happens in many ways...by being engaged in your child's education, actively reading with your child, donating to our Annual Campaign, volunteering in your child's classroom, or serving on our Governing Board or in OPPG and one of it's subcommittees.
In addition, you can contribute to our school by participating in one of these ways:
Give Back Program for Holiday shopping at Americana or The Grove
Between Nov. 19-Dec. 24, 5% of all purchases made at The Americana at Brand located in Glendale, California or The Grove located in Los Angeles, California will be given back to Odyssey. All parents, faculty and friends have to do is show their receipts to the on-site Concierge and provide them with the name of the school (Odyssey Charter School) that they would like their sales to go back to. In early January 2010, Odyssey will receive a check!!
Cars-4-Causes is an easy to use and charitable way for you to donate your vehicle and help benefit Odyssey Charter School. In addition to accepting cars, you can also donate trucks, boats, RV's, motorcylces, off-road vehicles, heavy equipment and most other motorized vehicles. By clipping and submitting the specially marked labels from selected General Mills products, you can help Odyssey earn funds to support your child's education. Some participating brands include Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Yoplait, Ziplock, Hefty, Huggies and many many more! All you have to do is buy products with the Box Tops for Education logo, clip them and send them to school with your child. You can view a full listing of participating products here.
By registering your existing grocery loyalty, debit and credit cards for eScrip, Odyssey is able to earn funds from your existing, everyday purchases. Recycling
Woking in partnership with the L.A. Conservation Corps, middle school students collect, sort, and bag all recyclables collected on the campus. You too can do your part in helping us earn more funds by bringing in your recyclable plastics, aluminum cans, and glass bottles. Items should be bagged and can be dropped off in the blue recylcing bins located in the school parking lot.
