To many of you welcome back and to those of you that are newcomers, welcome to Odyssey. I hope that you have had a wonderful summer filled with many adventures and learning opportunities. I am very excited about this school year and am looking forward to meeting familiar and new faces.
As the school year begins, our focus will be on creating a daily routine, establishing expectations and developing a classroom community. The process of becoming a classroom and school community is an important element to ensure a successful year.

What I did on my summer vacation

This summer I had the opportunity to travel to Beijing. It was an amazing opportunity to experience another culture that is so rich in history. I had the chance to visit the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, and the Great Wall. I was also able to catch an acrobatic show and ride around the old hutongs. My most memorable moment had to be camping out on the Great Wall and zip lining off it was an adventure of a lifetime. Corona blog body
