Odyssey Produce Collective Announcement!
We have 5 extra boxes this week which include Hass Avocado, Pixie Tangerines, Navel Oranges, Artichokes, Collards, Broccoli, Beets, and Green Cabbage (contents may vary on Thursday). If you want one, reserve with Jennifer Wenzlaff at jenwenzlaff@pacbell.net or Ben Wright at littleben42@gmail.com. Or just stop by the Teacher's Lounge on Thursday between 2:30pm and 4:30pm.

The Odyssey Produce Collective has a few exciting announcements!

We have 5 extra boxes this week including Purple Artichokes,
Asparagus, Navel Oranges, Ruby Grapefruit, Avocado, Bok Choy,
Collards, and Carrots (contents may vary on Thursday).
Extra Boxes
We are continuing to offer extra boxes to the community on a first
come first serve/reserve basis. We sell out every week (usually
before Thursday). Currently we have at least 5 extra boxes, but we’re
wanting to know if there is enough interest to sustain more. If you'd
like to get on our list of "once in a while" folks please do so with
the link below.
Box Buddies
We are thinking about starting a "Box "Buddies" program, where two (or
more) families split a box. If you are interested and have someone in
mind that you'd like to split a box with please stop by the teacher's
lounge on Thursday (or email Jennifer (jenwenzlaff@pacbell.net) or Ben
Wright (littleben42@gmail.com) to talk about how to set this up. For
those that don't have anyone in mind we are collecting information
(again see the link) so that we can help find partners for folks who
are interested in splitting a box.
Summer Boxes
We are exploring the possibility (with eroots) of doing a Summer
produce box. It would be a different model (like a more traditional
CSA) where you pick up your box from a location (usually near where
you live or work) it would NOT be Odyssey (for the Summer). So we are
collecting information to see who is interested and where they live to
see where the best, centralized spots to create these pickup
locations.
