SECOND CAMPUS UPDATE
As you are aware, OCS learned in early March that our anticipated approval by the CA State Board of Education to open a second campus for the 2017-2018 school year was denied. Therefore. we are unale to proceed with opening a second campus location for the 2017-2018 school year.
While this news was disappointing, we remain committed to achieving our goal of opening a second TK-8 school within the boundaries of Pasadena Unified School District for the 2018-2019 school year. A requirement for our petition submittal is to obtain over 150 meaningful interested families in our second school campus. We hope you remain interested in enrollment at Odyssey Charter School and support our new petition by attending one of the below information meetings. If you have a student that will be entering Transitional Kindergarten through 3rd grade in the 2018-2019 school year, please come and sign that you are meaningfully interested in attending a new school should approval to open occur.

- Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 5:30pm
- Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 9:00am
- Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 9:00am
Once we acquire the necessary signatures, we will be able to submit the New Charter Petition to the Pasadena Unified School District for their approval consideration. When the New Charter Petition has been approved we can begin the application process for enrolllment. We will keep you updated on the process and if successful we hope to hold enrollment tours for our second campus in January 2018.

Applying to Odyssey
All families interested in applying for admission to Odyssey must complete an Application for Admission. The application can be accessed by clicking on the button below.
*Students must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2017 in order to be elegible for Kindergarten*
You may also apply and monitor your enrollment and waitlist position via the SchoolMint app available for Apple and Android devices.
Admission preferences are offered in the following order:
- Children of current Odyssey employees who apply for the campus where the employee works
- Siblings of currently enrolled Odyssey students who apply for the same campus their sibling attends
- Students who are eligible to receive free or reduced price lunch (To verify eligibility, click here)
- Students who are currently enrolled in or reside in the attendance area of Franklin Elementary School of Pasadena Unified School District. (To verify if Franklin is your designated school, click here)
- All other students
If you beleive you meet any of the criteria for an admission preference, please indicate this on your Application. Enrollment preferences will be verified once you are offered a space for enrollment; if you are unable to provide proof of enrollment preferences you will lose the offered enrollment space and be placed at the end of our waitlist.
