Welcome Back!
Dear 7th and 8th grade families,
It's our pleasure as your new teachers to welcome you into the 2010-2011 school year! We hope that you are all enjoying summer vacation as much as we are. Even so, there are a couple of things we'd like for you to be mindful of before the next school year begins:
Room Parents
When it comes to organizing field trips, parties, Earth Day, Stone Soup Day, the Middle School Play, or other educational events, room parents are always leading the charge in supporting the students and teachers. The OCS community has always been fortunate to have such supportive parents! If you are interested in being a room parent or just informally helping out occasionally, please contact us.
Supplies List
There are certain things each student needs on the first day of school and they are noted on our supplies list. There are also things that we need donated as a class. Again, it is such a pleasure to work with so many helpful parents. The first day of school usually sees a pouring in of donations from smiling students and parents, and it is these donations that carry us through the year! You'll find a list of required supplies and donations with this letter. As always, we thank you for your continued support.

If for any reason you need to contact us during the summer, please do not hesitate to email us at
